Hate The Taste Of Juicing? Try My Sweet New Recipe!

I’m not afraid to admit it…I’m a juice-aholic!  I continue to share my juicing recipes and hope that you love them as much as I do. I can say that I never promised that they actually taste fantastic, but the power of the nutrients far outweighs the so-so taste.  Not to mention, helps you maintain that bikini body year round!

I’ve been on a quest to add some fruits to the mix, but typically try to stick to veggies to keep my sugar intake down. If you have tried my past recipes and aren’t so keen on the taste, then this little gem is for you. Fruits can mask some of the veggies that have a stronger taste. Here are a few of the fruits I like to use that have the highest juicing yield: apples, watermelon, pears, oranges and lemons. Also, get crazy and throw a cucumber in there – YES, it’s a fruit, and another great taste to add in the mix. You pretty much can’t go wrong with most of my recipes if you just add whatever fruit you like to change up the taste.

Here’s my latest creation:

Watermelon Blast
Recipe type: Juicing
  • 3-4 large carrots
  • 1 small apple
  • 1-1½ cups watermelon
  • ½ cucumber
  • 4-5 whole kale leaves (or two handfuls if chopped)
  • 1 inch ginger root
  • 1-2 handfuls spinach
  • ½ large beet
  1. Throw in the juicer and enjoy!
