The best bikinis and one pieces are those that are buttery soft, comfortable and fit like a glove. I’ve thrown out some teasers on Instagram this week, which clearly show my love for this amazing brand – Yemaya Swimwear.
This certainly isn’t my first post on this delicious collection, check out my post featuring the La Nati Bikini that fits like a dream. I wanted to get more pieces from the collection, and share my love of the exceptional quality and uniqueness of the suits. I had the opportunity to talk to Owner/Designer, Carla Pallares about what inspired her to create this dreamy collection.
“What inspired the Sal Azul Collection was basically my Paraguayan roots and the women in my family. The crochet in the collection is inspired by the South American crochet that is used and the kind that my mother makes. I grew up wearing crochet from pieces my mother would make me. It’s a South American/Bohemian inspired line that always focuses on fit and comfort. I never felt comfortable in my suit so I wanted to design a line that was different, but also incredibly comfortable that you never wanted to take off.”
A big hats off to you, Carla. The pieces in this collection are to die for! So soft and unbelievably comfy, I literally could live in them all day, every day. To the beach, pool, paired with my favorite shorts….you name it. The added crochet detailing that Carla mentioned above is out of this world. So perfect and unique, something that set these pieces apart from any other.
To close, I have to talk about how difficult a task it is to find the perfect white bikini. There are many factors to consider: finding the right shade of white (not too yellow or blue-ish), finding one that is lined (so it’s not see-through), finding the softest material (so you can live in it and feel comfortable) and the perfect shape and fit (so you don’t look like a marshmallow! Ha. Well, Yemaya strikes again – check, check, check and check!
Go – grab a Yemaya bikini and see for yourself. It’s like butter baby – you won’t be disappointed!
Life is better in a bikini!
